Junior Corporate Travel Consultant
Serving the needs of our corporate/business travel clientele is both challenging and very rewarding. Creativity, adaptability, efficiency and accuracy combined with teamwork and a great attitude make it possible for our Corporate Travel Consultants to provide the highest levels of attentive service to our ever-expanding Corporate Travel clientele.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive, cheerful approach to all customers both internal and external.
- Establish clients' needs on first contact, qualify by leading client conversations with questions and treat each inquiry with patience and focus.
- Offer comparisons and make recommendations.
- Ensure that all reservations are processed in accordance with established customer policies.
- Process client requests for domestic and international air reservations; car and hotel reservations.
- Maintain current knowledge of promotions and specials and proactively advise clients of savings opportunities.
- Consistently maintain personal sales and revenue targets as established on an individual basis.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Travel College Diploma
- CRS proficiency is considered an asset.
- Proven customer service skills and abilities.
- Personable, presentable, service-oriented, accurate, efficient, able to work under pressure of deadlines.
Remuneration: Salary + Incentive

Senior Corporate Travel Consultant

Military Travel Consultant (Edmonton Office ONLY)
Military Travel Consultants enjoy the unique and rewarding experience of providing military leave travel arrangements for our Canadian Military service personnel deployed outside of Canada.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Diligently respond to client inquiries for military travel in an effort to win the loyalty of those clients and satisfy their travel requirements.
- Accurately handle air, tour, cruise, car and hotel reservations and processing (both manual and automated)
- Efficiently submit all invoicing and internal processing of all client/vendor payments.
- Offer comparisons and make recommendations
- Maintain current knowledge of promotions and specials and proactively advise clients of savings opportunities.
- Consistently follows standard IATA/BSP procedures for pricing, ticketing, refunds, etc.
- Maintain familiarity with most common tour products for applicable Military market.
- Participate in client presentations as required. (Participation outside normal office hours may be required)
- Participate in base visits and Travel Coordinator training sessions as required. (Travel to the bases may be required).
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Travel College Diploma
- Minimum two (2) years Travel Consultant Experience, including international booking and consultation
- Successful completion of core automation reservations training.
- CRS proficiency.
- Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally.
- Bilingual (English/French) written and oral communication skills are an asset.
- Willingness to work non-standard work hours (with premiums paid for some non-standard shifts) is an asset.
- Personal international travel experience (Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East) is an asset.

Incredible knowledge of vacation travel alternatives and a sincere interest in customer satisfaction enables our Vacation Travel Consultants to select and recommend the very best vacation alternatives to leisure travel clients in our marketplace. Continual training keeps our agents knowledgeable and enthusiastic and promotes personal growth and specialization in key travel destinations. We are open 6 days a week, so some Saturday shifts are necessary.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive, cheerful approach to all customers both internal and external.
- Use creativity and a variety of resources to overcome challenges, acquire information, satisfy clients' needs and maximize agency revenues.
- Establish clients' needs on first contact, qualify by leading client conversations with questions and treat each inquiry with patience and focus.
- Offer comparisons and make recommendations
- Ensure that all reservations are processed in accordance with established policies.
- Maintain current knowledge of promotions and specials and proactively advise clients of savings opportunities.
- Consistently maintain personal sales and revenue targets as established on an individual basis.
